Puhuri Scarf takes its name from a Finnish word for a strong breeze — wild, refreshing, and full of energy.
Knit in simple stockinette, interrupted by garter stripes in a contrast colour, it’s a piece for movement and stillness alike, meant to be wrapped around you on days when the air feels alive.
The scarf is knit back and forth using 2 different colors: a main color and a contrast color for the textured stripes. The scarf is worked from the bottom tip to the top, with gradual increases throughout the entire piece to create the triangle shape. The scarf contains a center stitch in the middle of the scarf, and stockinette stripes in the main color in between each stripe. The scarf is finished with a garter stitch detail.
